Music in New Orleans

While New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz, it also has a thriving classical music scene. I am fortunate that my city has both an excellent opera company and a very fine symphony. In 2019 I managed to see Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio. Loyola University also puts on an opera every spring.
